Last October 27 (Sunday), I attended the Philippine Fashion Week at SMX convention center with some friends. I am very lucky because I had free invites for two shows; MENSWEAR collection and the final show of the week, BEN FARRALES’ “Retrospective”. I attended men’s wear fashion show with my blogger friend Saskia Sacro and her best friend, Nicole Silva (Nicole is a fashion Illustrator). Ben Farrales  “Retrospective” with my high school friend Valerie Beltran. Before heading out to the main venue or function room, we stayed first at Cafe Bene which was also located inside SMX. We also met our “legit” photographer friend (yes l-e-g-i-t), MJ Genoveza. We did not have the chance to hang that long since he is very busy with his “photographer duties”.
The MENSWEAR collection, show cased the beautiful and unique works of 12 different designers; Anthony Nocom, Chris Jasler, Don Sevilla III, Drei Soriano, Edgar Buyan, Edwin Tan, Jeffrey Rogador, Jinggo Inoncillo, M. Baretto, Melchor Guinto, Norman Oriega, and Ulysses King. The event started around 3 pm and ended before 4. My favorite was Anthony Nocom’s collection. His works are really simple.
One of the designs that caught everyone’s attention was the bag that turned into a jacket. It was designed by Chris Jasler. (I swear! It’s really cool!) Everyone did a great job! All of their works are very stylish! It was a really amazing show! If you want to see more pictures of their creations proceed to this LINK.

Tada!! My look for the day!
I will make another post for the details of my outfit and for Ben Farrales’ show.
